Job Description
A GIS Analyst responsible for spatial data management, mapping, and geospatial analysis to support infrastructure, environmental, and planning projects, working closely with project teams to develop mapping products and provide data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Support spatial data management and maintain GIS databases
- Perform geospatial analysis for infrastructure, environmental, facilities, and planning projects
- Develop high-quality mapping products in collaboration with project teams
- Provide data-driven insights to support client decision-making
Requirements
- The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Support spatial data management, mapping, and geospatial analysis for infrastructure, environmental, facilities, and planning projects.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and technical teams to develop high-quality mapping products.
- Maintain GIS databases.
- Provide data-driven insights that support client decision-making.
- This is a full-time onsite position at the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgreen Division NSWCDD in Dahlgreen, VA.
- The salary range for all positions depends on the years and type of experience.
