Job Description
The Senior Security Specialist oversees information assurance and cybersecurity compliance for Navy systems, ensuring adherence to DoD and Navy cybersecurity policies, RMF requirements, and security best practices in a high-security environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee information assurance and cybersecurity compliance across Navy systems and environments.
- Ensure systems adhere to DoD and Navy cybersecurity policies, Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements, and security best practices.
- Perform cybersecurity governance, auditing, and compliance within high-security DoD environments.
Requirements
- Deep expertise in cybersecurity governance, auditing, and compliance within high security Department of Defense (DoD) environments.
- Experience overseeing information assurance and cybersecurity compliance across Navy systems and environments.
- Knowledge of and ability to ensure all systems adhere to Department of Defense (DoD) and Navy cybersecurity policy.
- Knowledge of and ability to ensure all systems meet Risk Management Framework (RMF) requirements.
- Ability to ensure systems follow established security best practices.
- Proven skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
