Job Description
The Senior Cyber Specialist provides advanced cybersecurity support for U.S. Navy systems, focusing on proactive defense, continuous monitoring, and ensuring compliance with DoD cybersecurity frameworks to strengthen the Navy's cybersecurity posture.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide advanced cybersecurity expertise to support U.S. Navy systems, networks, and mission-critical data.
- Strengthen the Navy's cybersecurity posture through proactive defense measures.
- Conduct continuous monitoring of cybersecurity systems and networks.
- Ensure compliance with Department of Defense cybersecurity frameworks.
Requirements
- Provide advanced cybersecurity expertise in support of U.S. Navy systems, networks, and mission-critical data.
- Play a key role in strengthening the Navy's cybersecurity posture through proactive defense, continuous monitoring, and compliance with Department of Defense (DoD) cybersecurity frameworks.
- Must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- This is a full-time onsite position at the Naval Surface Warfare Center NSWC Indian Head in Indian Head, MD.
- The salary range depends on the years and type of experience.
