Job Description
The Senior Azure Systems Engineer is responsible for supporting and managing enterprise-level cloud environments with a focus on Azure and Office 365, ensuring security, compliance, and operational standards within GCC High and NIST SP 800-171 CMMC Level 2 frameworks. The role involves analyzing, designing, implementing, optimizing, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure to maintain a secure, resilient, and scalable cloud ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
- Support and enhance enterprise-level Azure cloud infrastructure throughout its full lifecycle, including analysis, architecture, planning, implementation, deployment, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain a secure, resilient, and scalable cloud environment aligned with security and compliance standards such as NIST SP 800-171 CMMC Level 2 within GCC High environments.
- Ensure all cloud solutions meet rigorous security, operational, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate with teams and clients to resolve complex technical challenges related to Azure and Office 365 environments.
Requirements
- A minimum of seven years of cloud systems engineering experience supporting or operating enterprise-level cloud environments.
- At least three years of hands-on experience operating within GCC High environments or supporting infrastructures aligned with NIST SP 800-171 CMMC Level 2, ensuring solutions meet security, compliance, and operational standards.
- Experience contributing to the full lifecycle of Azure infrastructure including analysis, architecture, planning, implementation, deployment, optimization, and troubleshooting.
- Proficiency in supporting and enhancing enterprise-level cloud environments with a strong focus on Azure and Office 365.
