Job Description
A Landscaper Facility Maintenance Technician responsible for groundskeeping and facilities maintenance tasks such as mowing, snow removal, painting, minor repairs, and light renovations to ensure a safe and operational environment at the Naval Support Facility NSF Indian Head.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, weed whacking, and snow removal
- Support facilities maintenance projects including painting, minor renovations, and light repairs
- Operate landscaping tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Assist with light repairs and basic maintenance tasks around the facility
Requirements
- Must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Must have experience with routine groundskeeping tasks such as mowing, weed whacking, and snow removal.
- Must have experience with facilities maintenance projects including painting, minor renovation, and light repair.
- Must have a strong mechanical aptitude.
- Must have experience with landscaping tools and equipment.
- Must have the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must have experience or skills in drywall, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work, or other trades (preferred but not mandatory).
- Must be able to perform full-time work at NSF Indian Head and the Stump Neck Annex.
- Must be available to work a day shift of either Tuesday through Saturday or Sunday through Thursday.
