Job Description
The Engineering Construction Technician provides field-level oversight and technical support for construction projects at the Naval Support Facility Indian Head, focusing on inspections, quality verification, safety, and documentation to ensure project progress and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide field-level construction oversight and technical support for projects at NSF Indian Head.
- Monitor construction progress and verify quality of work.
- Ensure safety compliance on construction sites.
- Conduct technical inspections and field verification of construction activities.
- Assist with documentation and project close-out processes.
- Collaborate with the Construction Manager to support project execution.
Requirements
- The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Provide field-level construction oversight and technical support for projects at the Naval Support Facility NSF Indian Head.
- Work closely with the Construction Manager to monitor construction progress, verify quality, ensure safety, and assist with documentation and project close-out.
- Perform technical inspections, field verification, and reporting related to construction projects.
- The position is full-time at NSF Indian Head, Maryland.
- Possess the skills to perform technical inspections, field verification, and reporting rather than overall project leadership.
