Job Description
The position involves leading business development efforts and providing program management within ERG's Facilities Planning and Engineering Team, primarily focusing on Navy-related opportunities and expanding to other federal and non-federal clients, while collaborating with leadership, technical experts, and external partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in all phases of business development, including client and partner engagement, proposal strategy, planning, and development.
- Drive Navy-related business growth and identify opportunities with other federal and non-federal clients.
- Collaborate with leadership, technical experts, and external partners on business development efforts.
- Serve as a Program Manager on contracts, providing client engagement and ongoing program oversight.
Requirements
- The qualified individual must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate must be located within driving distance of the Washington, DC metropolitan area to attend frequent at least weekly on-site client and team meetings.
- The candidate must have experience in leading and actively participating in all phases of business development, including client and partner engagement, proposal strategy and planning, and proposal development.
- The candidate must have the ability to work closely with leadership, technical experts, and external partners on business development efforts.
- The candidate must have experience serving as a Program Manager on contracts, providing client engagement, and ongoing program oversight as needed.
- The candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in business development, program management, or related fields.
- The candidate must have a proven track record of driving Navy-related business growth and familiarity with federal contracting processes.
- The candidate must have the ability to develop and implement proposal strategies and plans for federal opportunities, initially focusing on Navy projects and expanding to other federal and non-federal clients over time.
- The candidate must possess excellent communication skills to effectively communicate in a fast-paced environment.
- The candidate must have experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including technical experts and external partners.
- The candidate must be able to perform all responsibilities associated with business development and program management, with the capacity to adapt the focus between these roles based on organizational needs.
