Key Responsibilities
Conduct research, testing, and evaluation of bioaerosols and aerosolized particles
Develop and improve air monitoring systems for bioaerosol detection
Perform laboratory experiments related to collection efficiency of bioaerosol sampling methods
Collaborate with EPA scientists, engineers, and program leads on environmental and public health initiatives
Requirements
The candidate must have strong technical expertise in bioaerosols, aerosolized particles, collection efficiency, and air monitoring systems.
The candidate must have hands-on laboratory experience related to bioaerosol research and testing.
The candidate must be highly motivated with the skills to prioritize, perform, and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
This is an onsite position within a federal laboratory environment supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
The candidate must be able to work closely with EPA scientists, engineers, and program leads.
The candidate must have the ability to contribute to research, testing, evaluation, and technology development in the field of bioaerosols.
