Job Description
The role involves designing and developing scalable, data-intensive frontend or full-stack applications to support the transformation of the power sector, enabling automation and human decision-making within a complex energy ecosystem. The engineer will collaborate across teams to create innovative software solutions that address the evolving challenges of modern energy management.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in critical frontend architecture decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Design and develop scalable, data-intensive frontend applications with complex UIs.
- Translate intricate domain requirements into elegant, user-friendly interfaces.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to deliver cohesive user experiences.
- Implement frontend strategies for visualizing and interacting with large datasets.
- Ensure frontend security best practices are followed.
Requirements
- A commitment to clean energy and combating climate change.
- Experience with frontend full-stack engineering, ideally at scale, including development and ownership of complex, data-intensive applications, and large-scale Typescript React codebases.
- Collaboration-driven mentality work closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and data scientists to deliver cohesive user experiences.
- Demonstrable experience designing and implementing frontend strategies for effectively consuming, visualizing, and interacting with large, complex datasets, including understanding the underlying data models and APIs.
- Proficient in AI-augmented software engineering, e.g., Gen AI and LLMs, agentic tools, Cursor, Claude Code, etc.
- Good understanding of security best practices, with bonus points if it is in an enterprise environment.
- Deep expertise with modern testing strategies for frontend applications, including unit, functional, and end-to-end testing frameworks such as Testing Library, Cypress, and Playwright.
