The Truck Loadout Operator is responsible for safely loading trucks with sustainable wood pellets, maintaining equipment and safety standards, and ensuring accurate reporting and inventory in a fast-paced, outdoor industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
Load trucks scheduled for delivery
Perform and document equipment inspections and maintenance
Operate truck load out equipment and adjust settings as needed
Follow safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment
Accurately report and record inventory and operational data
Communicate operational issues and escalate problems promptly
Coordinate maintenance activities on equipment
Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping standards in the load out area
Requirements
Ability to work multiple shift schedules to support 24x7 operations
Demonstrate mechanical aptitude
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job instructions
Proficient in mathematics and measurement
Ability to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees
Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
Willing and able to maintain strict adherence to safety rules and regulations, including wearing safety equipment
Willing and able to perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to twelve (12) hours a day
Willing and able to work around moving equipment and machinery
Willing and able to pull and lift up to 50 lbs.
Perform and document required inspections of equipment and maintain equipment in good condition
Operate truck load out equipment including HMI touchscreen and adjust according to product output
Follow all workplace and job safety procedures
Confirm all reporting and inventory accurately completed as required
Communicate operational information and escalate issues promptly for proper resolution
Enter maintenance work requests as applicable
Perform coordinate maintenance on equipment per job instructions
Perform coordinate housekeeping to maintain to required standard
Ability to perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
