The Safety Training Manager leads the development and implementation of safety training programs to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational excellence across facilities in a renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute safety training strategies to support safety objectives and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and prioritize initiatives.
Create hazard-specific safety training programs and ensure standardized delivery across sites.
Ensure training programs meet OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and company requirements and update content based on regulatory changes.
Oversee LMS configuration, reporting, and data integrity for training tracking and certification management.
Manage vendor relationships and evaluate training technologies and enhancements.
Develop competency frameworks and progression paths for safety-critical roles.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Training, or related field or equivalent experience
3 to 5 years of experience in safety training, curriculum development, or EHS roles
Experience with LMS administration and e-learning development
Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and hazard-specific safety requirements
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred
