Job Description
The Safety Training Manager leads the development and implementation of safety training programs to promote a strong safety culture, ensure regulatory compliance, and support operational excellence across facilities in a renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute safety training strategies to support safety objectives and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify training needs and prioritize initiatives.
- Create hazard-specific safety training programs and ensure standardized delivery across sites.
- Ensure training programs meet OSHA, NFPA, ANSI, and company requirements and update content based on regulatory changes.
- Oversee LMS configuration, reporting, and data integrity for training tracking and certification management.
- Manage vendor relationships and evaluate training technologies and enhancements.
- Develop competency frameworks and progression paths for safety-critical roles.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Training, or related field or equivalent experience
- 3 to 5 years of experience in safety training, curriculum development, or EHS roles
- Experience with LMS administration and e-learning development
- Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and hazard-specific safety requirements
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced Excel skills preferred
