The Senior Counsel - Commercial will support the company's legal efforts related to commercial and EPC projects, working closely with the legal team to ensure compliance and facilitate energy infrastructure development globally.
Key Responsibilities
Support the legal aspects of the company's commercial and EPC efforts
Provide legal guidance on contracts and agreements related to energy projects
Assist in managing legal risks associated with project development and operations
Requirements
Support primarily the commercial and EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) efforts of the company as a key member of the legal team.
Report directly to the Chief Legal Officer.
Possess a Juris Doctor (JD) degree or equivalent legal education.
Have a minimum of 5 years of legal experience, preferably in energy, infrastructure, or related industries.
Demonstrate strong knowledge of commercial law, contract law, and EPC project agreements.
Have experience drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex commercial contracts and EPC agreements.
Be able to provide legal advice on project development, procurement, and construction matters.
Have the ability to support legal compliance and risk management related to commercial and EPC activities.
Possess excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
Be able to work remotely, as this position is LI-remote.
