Job Description

A senior technical support engineer responsible for resolving complex customer issues, managing infrastructure and data, automating processes, and mentoring junior staff within a growing energy solutions company, with a focus on delivering excellent customer service and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve complex customer issues and manage high volume of cases, including urgent escalations
  • Coordinate cross-team resources to accelerate resolution of critical or systemic issues
  • Manage and maintain infrastructure, networks, servers, and software applications
  • Collect, store, manage, and analyze large volumes of data ensuring quality, security, and accessibility
  • Automate routine business processes using software solutions, workflow tools, and RPA
  • Serve as a technical advisor by translating complex technical findings into actionable information
  • Mentor and support junior technical support engineers through coaching and review of troubleshooting approaches
  • Create and maintain troubleshooting guides, runbooks, and post-mortem reports for high-impact incidents
  • Ensure knowledge base documentation is accurate, complete, and technically sound

Requirements

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in a software product support role.
  • Experience supporting Cloud and API applications.
  • Intermediate to advanced experience with Python scripting.
  • Proven ability to execute database data queries and updates.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage a high volume of complex cases while balancing urgent escalations and proactive backlog reduction.
  • Experience coordinating cross-team resources to accelerate resolution for critical or systemic issues.
  • Experience managing and maintaining infrastructure, networks, servers, and software applications.
  • Experience collecting, storing, managing, and analyzing large volumes of data generated from various sources within the company, ensuring data quality, security, and accessibility.
  • Experience automating routine and manual business processes using software solutions, workflow tools, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) to improve efficiency, reduce errors, and streamline operations across departments.
  • Ability to serve as a trusted technical advisor by translating complex technical findings into clear, actionable information.
  • Experience mentoring and coaching junior technical support staff, including reviewing troubleshooting approaches, documentation, and customer communication.
  • Ability to author detailed troubleshooting guides, runbooks, and post-mortems for high-impact incidents.
  • Acting as a quality gate for knowledge base accuracy, ensuring documentation is complete, technically sound, and usable by all support tiers.
  • Proficiency in supporting infrastructure components such as networks, servers, and software applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a hybrid work environment, working onsite at least 1 day per week at one of the specified office locations.

Benefits & Perks

Salary range of $95,000 to $125,000, with a target compensation of $118,000 to $120,000 based on experience and qualifications
Hybrid work schedule with at least 1 day per week onsite at one of the company offices
