Job Description
A Middle Java Developer role focused on developing and maintaining software solutions for a large US-based financial services company, specializing in portfolio management, data management, investment accounting, and performance measurement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial software applications using Java.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement features.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and best practices.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Java Developer with at least 3 years of professional experience in software development.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Java programming language.
- Experience working on projects related to financial services or financial data management is required.
- Ability to develop and maintain software solutions within a portfolio management suite, including data management, investment accounting, and performance measurement modules.
- Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in analyzing and translating business requirements into technical specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail in software development tasks.
- Good understanding of software development lifecycle and agile methodologies.
- Ability to work effectively in Ukraine (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil) or Poland, with the flexibility to adapt to different team locations.
