Job Description
A Middle Test Automation Engineer Java responsible for developing and maintaining automated tests to ensure the quality of financial software solutions for a global client, primarily working in Ukraine offices.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java.
- Execute automated tests to ensure software quality.
- Identify, document, and report defects found during testing.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Middle Automation Test Engineer Java or similar role with a focus on test automation.
- Solid understanding and experience with Java programming language for test automation purposes.
- Experience in developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts for software applications.
- Familiarity with test automation frameworks and tools relevant to Java, such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.
- Ability to design and implement automated testing solutions to ensure software quality.
- Experience working in a software development lifecycle that includes continuous integration and continuous testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, and integration testing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying and documenting defects.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, including communication with developers and other stakeholders.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical specifications and requirements.
- Educational background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Physical ability to work in an office environment in Ukraine (Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Kyiv) as required.
