The role involves technical analysis, system design, and collaboration with engineering teams to optimize and implement innovative energy storage solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct techno-economic modeling of customer energy storage systems and use cases.
  • Analyze load and generation profiles to size BESS systems and predict energy throughput.
  • Develop models considering energy input costs, charge/discharge times, efficiency, and revenue.
  • Evaluate system costs, architectures, and operational requirements for customer projects.
  • Research and recommend equipment, software, and partners for field installations.
  • Support engineering cost estimations and total cost of ownership analysis.
  • Monitor and report on performance of field pilot installations and suggest improvements.
  • Collaborate with firmware team to develop control strategies for optimal charge and dispatch.
