Key Responsibilities
- Conduct techno-economic modeling of customer energy storage systems and use cases globally.
- Serve as the customer's technical representative, advising on product specifications and work packages.
- Analyze end-use loads and generation profiles to develop power and energy models for BESS sizing and energy throughput prediction.
- Develop techno-economic models considering energy costs, charge/discharge times, efficiency, and revenue potential.
- Evaluate system costs, architectures, and operational requirements for various customer applications.
- Research and recommend AC equipment, software, and partners for field installations.
- Support engineering cost estimations and total cost of ownership analysis for systems.
- Monitor and report on performance of field pilot installations and recommend improvements.
- Collaborate with the BMS firmware team to develop control strategies for optimal charge and dispatch.
- Conduct Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA) on system components and overall BESS.
- Assist in authoring and maintaining engineering documentation and project requirements.
- Support commissioning, operation, and maintenance of e-Zinc BESS installations.
Requirements
