Automation & Electrical Engineer

• Diploma (e.g. DUT) or degree in electrical engineering, automation, or a related field - or equivalent hands-on experience • 3+ years of experience (internships/apprenticeships and personal projects all count, however, candidates with more experience are warmly encouraged to apply) • Some exposure to PLC programming (Beckhoff, Rockwell, Siemens, or Schneider - any is fine; you'll learn Beckhoff on the job) • Comfort with at least one programming language (e.g. Structured Text, Python, C) • Understanding of version control (Git) for collaborative code work • Familiarity with electrical panel design and reading wiring diagrams • Hands-on experience with sensors, actuators, and basic electronics troubleshooting • Comfortable using an oscilloscope and basic electronics measurement tools • Exemplary work ethic and self-driven attitude: you get things done fast and to a high standard and you don't drop the ball • "Street-smart": you don't take no for an answer and will figure out a way to solve anything with the means available • Commitment to the mission and ambition and to creating a kind, high-performance and fun atmosphere at work (100% on-site role) • Passion for innovation and problem-solving attitude • Dedication to investing time and effort for the betterment of the team • Going the extra 20% that makes a good deliverable into an outstanding deliverable • Humble, low-ego and curious
