Job Description
A hands-on Warehouse Logistics Manager responsible for overseeing materials, inventory, and logistics operations at a state-of-the-art facility, ensuring the efficient processing, storage, and shipping of diamond wafers and related equipment to global partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and manage the logistics infrastructure for materials and inventory operations.
- Oversee the flow of materials and specialized equipment from the Trujillo plant to the Zaragoza facility.
- Ensure proper processing, storage, and shipment of finished diamond ingots to global partners with 100% accuracy.
Requirements
- Proven experience in building and managing logistics infrastructure for materials and inventory operations at a state-of-the-art facility.
- Experience overseeing the flow of materials and specialized equipment to support the production and shipping of high-value products, such as diamond wafers or similar advanced materials.
- Ability to ensure processing, storage, and shipping of materials and finished products to global partners with 100% precision.
- Hands-on management style with the ability to lead and coordinate logistics activities directly.
- Experience managing logistics operations related to the receipt of materials from a remote plant or supplier, specifically overseeing incoming materials from a Trujillo plant or similar source.
- Strong understanding of inventory management, including overseeing materials and equipment to ensure accurate processing, storage, and shipment.
- Knowledge of logistics best practices for handling high-value, specialized, or sensitive materials and equipment.
- Ability to develop, implement, and optimize logistics processes and infrastructure to support scaling production operations.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment focused on advanced materials or high-tech products, preferably in a clean or controlled environment.
- Physical ability to perform hands-on management of warehouse operations, including overseeing processing, storage, and shipping activities.
- Demonstrated leadership skills to manage a team responsible for logistics and inventory operations.
- Familiarity with safety standards and compliance requirements related to handling and storing specialized materials and equipment.
- Experience working in or managing logistics at facilities involved in high-precision manufacturing or scientific production is preferred.
