Job Description
A senior-level networking engineer responsible for overseeing and maintaining the organization's global network infrastructure, ensuring high uptime, scalability, and resilience across manufacturing and office environments worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the senior-most network authority across the organization
- Support Tier-1 manufacturing and office network environments globally
- Ensure production uptime and network resiliency
- Collaborate with the U.S.-based IT team to enable rapid site growth
- Maintain and optimize network infrastructure to support organizational needs
Requirements
- Experience as a Data Systems Engineer with a focus on networking, serving as the senior-most network authority across the organization.
- Hands-on experience supporting Tier-1 manufacturing and office environments globally.
- Ability to work closely with a predominantly U.S.-based IT team to ensure production uptime.
- Experience enabling rapid site growth and strengthening network resiliency across all regions.
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining enterprise-level network infrastructure and systems.
- Strong understanding of network security principles and practices.
- Experience with network troubleshooting, diagnostics, and performance optimization.
- Ability to support and manage network hardware and software in a global, multi-site environment.
- Knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewall configurations.
- Experience supporting and maintaining network infrastructure in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with international teams.
- Ability to work in a hands-on capacity, demonstrating technical expertise in network engineering.
- Availability to support a 24/7 operational environment as needed.
