The Production Quality Control Manager oversees jewelry production operations, ensuring fulfillment, quality standards, and vendor management from order processing to final shipment, with a focus on operational excellence and hands-on problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee jewelry production operations from order processing to final shipment
Manage fulfillment, quality control, and integrity of products
Evaluate manufacturing capabilities and ensure adherence to quality standards
Onboard and manage vendors, including contract negotiations
Conduct on-site inspections and visits to vendors in New Jersey and New York
Maintain and improve operational efficiency and quality assurance processes
Requirements
Robust experience in the jewelry industry, specifically in production operations, manufacturing capability evaluation, vendor onboarding and management, and contract negotiations.
Deep involvement in overseeing fulfillment, integrity, and quality control of jewelry products from order processing to final shipment and post-sale support.
Ability to work hybrid, on-site at VRAI locations, and occasionally visit vendors in New Jersey and New York.
Physical presence at a designated VRAI facility for all scheduled work hours, with the ability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
Ability to lift, carry, and push/pull up to 25 pounds.
