Job Description
A Manufacturing Process Technician at Diamond Foundry Inc. is responsible for working with proprietary plasma reactor technology to produce high-quality single-crystal diamond wafers, supporting engineering teams, and ensuring safe and efficient manufacturing operations in a fast-growing, environmentally sustainable tech company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate proprietary plasma reactor technology to produce high-quality diamonds.
- Assist engineering team with technical and non-technical needs related to manufacturing processes.
- Follow safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE and fall protection equipment.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting, climbing, and maneuvering equipment up to 50 pounds.
- Maintain adherence to regulatory and legal standards within manufacturing and engineering operations.
Requirements
- Proven ability to work with less support and demonstrate quick learning skills.
- Experience working directly with proprietary plasma reactor technology to produce high-quality diamonds.
- Ability to assist the engineering team with technical and non-technical needs related to manufacturing processes.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Physical ability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- Ability to use ladders or stairs as required for some tasks.
- Ability to drive or use foot controls as required for some tasks.
- Lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb a 20-foot ladder and properly use fall protection equipment.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S., confirmed through participation in E-Verify and completion of Form I-9.
