Job Description
A Facilities Electrical Engineer responsible for managing and optimizing the electrical infrastructure and critical utility systems supporting high-tech diamond manufacturing operations, ensuring uninterrupted power quality and system efficiency in compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of the electrical power architecture supporting diamond manufacturing operations.
- Support and maintain ultra-high-purity (UHP) gas and process-cooling systems.
- Lead the installation and optimization of complex electrical systems to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Coordinate with facilities, process engineering, and external contractors to ensure uninterrupted power quality.
- Ensure electrical infrastructure complies with semiconductor industry standards.
Requirements
- Manage the full lifecycle of the electrical power architecture supporting ultra-high-purity (UHP) gas and process-cooling systems in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
- Lead the electrical infrastructure and critical utility systems of the single-crystal diamond singulation operations in Zaragoza, Spain.
- Serve as a key technical lead to bridge the gap among facilities, process engineering, and external contractors to ensure uninterrupted power quality for diamond growth.
- Drive complex electrical systems installations and optimize system efficiency in accordance with semiconductor industry standards.
- Ensure high-voltage and low-voltage electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained to meet industry standards and safety regulations.
- Support and maintain ultra-high-purity (UHP) gas systems and process-cooling systems as part of the electrical infrastructure responsibilities.
- Manage and support the electrical aspects of critical utility systems necessary for high-tech manufacturing operations.
- Ensure all electrical systems and infrastructure are compliant with relevant safety, quality, and industry standards, particularly those applicable to semiconductor manufacturing.
- Possess a relevant educational background in electrical engineering or a related field.
- Have a minimum of [specify years if present, e.g., 3-5] years of experience in electrical engineering, facilities management, or related roles in high-tech manufacturing or semiconductor environments.
