Job Description
The Equipment Ops Technician at Diamond Foundry Inc. is responsible for cleaning, building, installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting plasma reactors to ensure maximum productivity and equipment efficiency in a cutting-edge diamond manufacturing plant.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean parts and components of industrial equipment, including plasma reactors
- Build, install, and maintain plasma reactors
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment to ensure maximum productivity
- Collaborate with process engineers, maintenance technicians, and cross-disciplinary teams to improve equipment performance
Requirements
- An industrial equipment-focused technician who mainly focuses on cleaning parts and sometimes builds, installs, maintains, and troubleshoots plasma reactors.
- Ability to work with an experienced team of process engineers and maintenance technicians locally and collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers around the world.
- Use appropriate PPE and follow all safety policies, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to sit, stand for long periods, walk, grasp, reach with hands and arms, lift below and above shoulders, bend, twist at the waist, climb, balance, stoop, squat, kneel, crawl, talk, hear, see, use fine finger manipulation, and complete repetitive motions.
- Some tasks may require the use of ladders or stairs.
- Some tasks may require driving or the use of foot controls.
- Lift, carry, and push/pull up to 50 pounds.
- Able to climb a 20 ft ladder and properly use fall protection equipment.
- Physical ability to perform manufacturing and engineering tasks that involve physical demands as specified.
