Job Description
The Senior Asset Manager at Cypress Creek Renewables is responsible for overseeing the performance, operations, and financial management of solar and storage assets within the company's fleet, ensuring long-term value creation and compliance across multiple stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the operational performance, maintenance, and revenue of designated solar storage assets.
- Develop and maintain relationships with landowners, regulators, and internal teams to ensure compliance and operational integrity.
- Review and approve financial transactions, budgets, and investor distribution models related to the asset portfolio.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) to enhance asset performance.
- Coordinate onboarding of new assets with construction, operations, and maintenance teams for seamless integration.
- Refine and scale asset management processes and systems to support fleet growth.
- Lead initiatives for value creation and organizational transformation to optimize portfolio performance.
Requirements
- 3 to 6 years of experience in the solar, renewable energy, or energy industry, ideally in asset management.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of energy financing structures and renewable energy operations.
- Highly collaborative team player with a proactive, action-oriented mindset.
- Strong attention to detail, with exceptional analytical and organizational skills.
- Proven experience in professional communication with external stakeholders.
- Skilled in extracting, summarizing, and analyzing large datasets, including information within contracts.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and a familiarity with financial and accounting systems.
- Willingness to travel domestically 10% to 25% of the time.
- Location requirement: Ability to work at CCR’s Chicago office located at 400 N Michigan Ave with a hybrid schedule of 3 days in the office per week.
