Job Description
A Production Welder responsible for performing in-house welding work on high-field superconducting magnets for fusion energy applications, working overnight shifts on weekends. The role involves manufacturing and contributing to the development of cutting-edge fusion technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform manufacturing in-house welding work for high-field superconducting magnets
- Operate welding equipment to meet quality and safety standards
- Follow technical specifications and procedures for welding tasks
Requirements
- Experience performing manufacturing in-house welding work, specifically for high-field superconducting magnets.
- Ability to work the scheduled hours from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights.
- Willingness to work on-site at the company's location.
- Must be able to comply with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
Benefits & Perks
Compensation rate of $30 - $41 per hour with a $30 differential
Work schedule from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights
