Job Description

The Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis will lead the company's finance team and systems growth, overseeing financial strategy and operations for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of infrastructure, manufacturing, and R&D projects in the fusion energy industry.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the financial planning and analysis functions for the company.
Architect and oversee the finance efforts for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of infrastructure, manufacturing, and R&D projects.
Build and develop the company's financial systems and team to support growth.

Requirements

Experience leading financial planning and analysis functions for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio of infrastructure, manufacturing, and R D projects.
Ability to architect and lead the finance effort for a rapidly growing company, including building the financial engine and systems.
Proven track record of building and managing finance teams and systems in a fast-paced environment.
Strong understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting for complex projects.
Experience working in or with the fusion energy, energy industry, or similarly innovative and high-tech sectors is preferred (implied by the company's focus).
Ability to develop and implement financial strategies aligned with company growth and project needs.
Knowledge of compliance with U.S. export control laws concerning controlled or protected technologies or information.
Demonstrated leadership skills to guide cross-functional teams and influence senior management.
Excellent communication skills to articulate financial insights and strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
