The Supply Chain Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, supporting manufacturing and operations in a fast-paced fusion energy company.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and software tools for manufacturing and operations teams.
Lead a team supporting inventory, logistics, planning, and procurement functions.
Manage supplier relationships to optimize processes and reduce costs and waste.
Utilize data to identify trends, improve supply chain performance, and mitigate risks.
Requirements
Experience in supply chain management, including leading a team supporting inventory, logistics, planning, and procurement functions.
Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
Proficiency in utilizing data to identify trends, improve performance, and reduce risk within the supply chain.
Experience in optimizing processes to minimize costs and waste.
Strong leadership skills to lead a small team supporting various supply chain functions.
Understanding of compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, specifically Export Control Laws.
Ability to ensure internal customers have the materials, equipment, and physical software tools they need when they need them, supporting manufacturing and operations teams.
Experience in aligning supply chain activities with broader business objectives.
Ability to operate in fast-paced environments driven by values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
