Job Description
The Supply Chain Manager is a leadership role responsible for overseeing procurement, inventory, logistics, and supplier relationships to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment, supporting manufacturing and operations in a fast-paced fusion energy company.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure availability of materials, equipment, and software tools for manufacturing and operations teams.
- Lead a team supporting inventory, logistics, planning, and procurement functions.
- Manage supplier relationships to optimize processes and reduce costs and waste.
- Utilize data to identify trends, improve supply chain performance, and mitigate risks.
Requirements
- Experience in supply chain management, including leading a team supporting inventory, logistics, planning, and procurement functions.
- Ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
- Proficiency in utilizing data to identify trends, improve performance, and reduce risk within the supply chain.
- Experience in optimizing processes to minimize costs and waste.
- Strong leadership skills to lead a small team supporting various supply chain functions.
- Understanding of compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, specifically Export Control Laws.
- Ability to ensure internal customers have the materials, equipment, and physical software tools they need when they need them, supporting manufacturing and operations teams.
- Experience in aligning supply chain activities with broader business objectives.
- Ability to operate in fast-paced environments driven by values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
