Job Description
A Senior Structural Mechanical Engineer at Commonwealth Fusion Systems is responsible for applying expertise in structural mechanics to support various projects, including fusion reactor designs and research activities, contributing to the development of commercially viable fusion energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an expert in structural mechanics for various projects including SPARC, ARC, and R&D activities.
- Design, analyze, and validate structural mechanical components and systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement structural solutions.
Requirements
- Serve as an expert in structural mechanics for various projects across the company, including SPARC, ARC, and other R D activities.
- Possess the necessary skills and knowledge in structural mechanics relevant to fusion energy projects.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information collectively, Export Control Laws, is required for employment.
