The Principal R D Technical Project Manager will lead and manage advanced research and development projects focused on developing, testing, and delivering complex, first-of-a-kind fusion systems at Commonwealth Fusion Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Drive one or more research and development projects related to complex, first-of-a-kind systems.
Apply proven project management best practices to develop, test, and deliver advanced systems.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones and objectives are met.
Requirements
Proven experience in project management applying best practices to develop, test, and deliver complex, first-of-a-kind systems in an advanced research and development environment.
Ability to drive one or more projects within the advanced research and development division of a fusion energy company.
Demonstrated skills in managing projects that involve complex systems development, testing, and delivery.
Experience working in fast-paced environments driven by values of integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
Ability to bring diverse perspectives and innovative approaches to solving tough problems in a team setting.
Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, specifically Export Control Laws, as a condition of employment.
