A Production Technician Contractor responsible for performing and monitoring manufacturing processes to build and test superconducting magnets, ensuring equipment functionality and collaborating with various departments to meet project goals in a fast-paced environment focused on advancing fusion energy technology.
Key Responsibilities
Perform and monitor manufacturing processes to build and test superconducting magnets.
Ensure the functional operation and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality departments to meet goals and objectives.
Requirements
A minimum of 6 years experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
Ability to perform and monitor manufacturing processes required to build and test superconducting magnets.
Ensuring functional operation and preventative maintenance of equipment.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to meet goals and objectives.
Work within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and efficiency.
Compliance with U.S. export control laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, with employment contingent upon such compliance.
Availability to work the second shift hours from 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
