Job Description
A Production Technician Contractor responsible for performing and monitoring manufacturing processes to build and test superconducting magnets, ensuring equipment functionality and collaborating with various departments to meet project goals in a fast-paced environment focused on advancing fusion energy technology.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform and monitor manufacturing processes to build and test superconducting magnets.
- Ensure the functional operation and perform preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, and Quality departments to meet goals and objectives.
Requirements
- A minimum of 6 years experience in electro-mechanical assembly.
- Ability to perform and monitor manufacturing processes required to build and test superconducting magnets.
- Ensuring functional operation and preventative maintenance of equipment.
- Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments to meet goals and objectives.
- Work within a fast-paced environment, demonstrating adaptability and efficiency.
- Compliance with U.S. export control laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, with employment contingent upon such compliance.
- Availability to work the second shift hours from 2:30 pm to 11:30 pm.
