A detail-oriented Metrology Technician responsible for performing laser scanning and CMM inspections to support the production and assembly of fusion energy components, ensuring high-quality data for validation and troubleshooting in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
Perform advanced laser scanning and CMM inspections on production components
Generate high-quality scan and inspection data for validation and troubleshooting
Support metrology engineering team in verifying builds and resolving issues
Maintain accurate documentation of inspection results
Assist in ensuring production meets quality and deadline requirements
Requirements
Experience performing advanced laser scanning and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) inspections in a manufacturing environment.
Ability to generate high-quality scan and inspection data to support validation of builds, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring production deadlines are met.
Detail-oriented with a focus on precision and documentation.
Hands-on experience with metrology tools and techniques relevant to laser scanning and CMM inspections.
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Eagerness to cross-train and grow within the Quality Control department.
Availability to work the second shift from 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm.
Must be able to comply with U.S. export control laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information.
Benefits & Perks
Compensation rate of $30 - $43 per hour with a 10% differential
