Job Description
A Mechanical Test Technician supporting assembly and high-stakes vacuum and pressure testing of fusion reactor components, working closely with the lead technician to ensure successful testing activities under the SATP program.
Key Responsibilities
- Support assembly and testing activities for SPARC components under the SATP program
- Execute high-stakes vacuum and pressure testing alongside the Lead Mechanical Tech
Requirements
- Experience supporting assembly and testing activities for vacuum and pressure testing of components, with the ability to execute high-stakes tests.
- Ability to work alongside a Lead Mechanical Technician to support the testing and assembly of SPARC components under the SATP program.
- Demonstrated experience as a Mechanical Test Technician or in a similar role involving mechanical testing, assembly, and support of complex components.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, specifically Export Control Laws, with the understanding that employment offers are contingent upon compliance.
- Ability to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems facilities in a fast-paced environment that values integrity, execution, impact, and self-critique.
