The Manufacturing Specialist supports process and efficiency improvements in a manufacturing environment, collaborates with engineering teams to optimize equipment performance, and provides first-tier engineering support to help accelerate production timelines for fusion energy projects.
Key Responsibilities
Support implementation of production process improvements and manufacturing efficiency initiatives
Collaborate with manufacturing and equipment engineering teams to identify, implement, and track equipment and process improvements
Reduce equipment downtime and enhance product quality through process improvements
Provide first-tier engineering support for production activities
Assist in shortening the production timeline to achieve project milestones
Requirements
Support implementation of production process improvements and manufacturing efficiency improvements.
Work collaboratively with the manufacturing and equipment engineering teams to identify, implement, and track the performance of equipment and process improvement activities.
Reduce equipment downtime and improve quality rates through equipment and process improvements.
Provide first-tier engineering support for production.
Possess the ability to help the production team shorten the timeline to SPARC.
Ability to work the second shift hours from 6:00 pm to 6:00 am on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights.
Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws) is required, and employment is contingent upon such compliance.
