Job Description
The Manufacturing Specialist supports process and efficiency improvements in a fast-paced fusion energy manufacturing environment, working collaboratively with engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and quality while providing first-tier engineering support for production.
Key Responsibilities
- Support implementation of production process improvements and manufacturing efficiency initiatives
- Collaborate with manufacturing and equipment engineering teams to identify and track equipment and process performance
- Implement activities aimed at reducing equipment downtime and enhancing product quality
- Provide first-tier engineering support for production operations
- Assist in shortening the production timeline to achieve project milestones
Requirements
- Experience supporting implementation of production process improvements and manufacturing efficiency improvements.
- Ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing and equipment engineering teams to identify, implement, and track the performance of equipment and process improvement activities.
- Experience in reducing equipment downtime and improving quality rates.
- Experience providing first-tier engineering support for production.
- Availability to work the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Ability to support the production team in shortening the timeline to SPARC.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $30 - $43 per hour with a 15% differential
Work schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
