The Manufacturing Specialist supports process and efficiency improvements in a fast-paced fusion energy manufacturing environment, working collaboratively with engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and quality while providing first-tier engineering support for production.
Key Responsibilities
Support implementation of production process improvements and manufacturing efficiency initiatives
Collaborate with manufacturing and equipment engineering teams to identify and track equipment and process performance
Implement activities aimed at reducing equipment downtime and enhancing product quality
Provide first-tier engineering support for production operations
Assist in shortening the production timeline to achieve project milestones
Requirements
Experience supporting implementation of production process improvements and manufacturing efficiency improvements.
Ability to work collaboratively with manufacturing and equipment engineering teams to identify, implement, and track the performance of equipment and process improvement activities.
Experience in reducing equipment downtime and improving quality rates.
Experience providing first-tier engineering support for production.
Availability to work the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Ability to support the production team in shortening the timeline to SPARC.
Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information (Export Control Laws).
Benefits & Perks
Compensation/salary range: $30 - $43 per hour with a 15% differential
Work schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, 6:00 am - 6:00 pm
