A hands-on Manufacturing Engineer responsible for leading overnight or weekend production operations of high-temperature superconducting magnets in a first-of-a-kind manufacturing environment, ensuring safety, efficiency, and the development of scalable, repeatable processes amidst novel challenges.

Requirements
Experience as a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer or similar role in a manufacturing environment, with the ability to lead overnight (third shift) and weekend (fourth shift) operations, ensuring safe and efficient production of high-temperature superconducting magnets.
Ability to lead through influence, make sound decisions under pressure, and bring clarity to ambiguity in a fast-moving, First-of-a-Kind (FOAK) manufacturing environment where the product is being designed while the machine is being built.
Proven capability to set the tone for a shift team, keep technicians focused and engaged, and operate at a high level while turning first-time challenges into scalable, repeatable processes.
Experience in standardizing and turning first encounters with novel problems into standardized, repeatable processes in a FOAK manufacturing environment.
Availability to work the following scheduled shifts: Monday through Friday, 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, with a salary range of $103,000 - $166,000 including a 15% shift differential.
Availability to work the following scheduled shifts: Friday through Monday, Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday 6:00 am - 6:30 pm, Monday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, with a salary range of $100,000 - $160,000 including a 10% shift differential.
Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, with employment contingent on such compliance.
Onsite work requirement at Commonwealth Fusion Systems facilities.
