Job Description
The Manager, Supply Chain Plant Infrastructure oversees supply chain activities related to plant design, construction, operations, maintenance, and industrial gases, leading a team to develop and execute sourcing strategies for various fusion energy projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the supply chain activities for Plant Infrastructure, including design, construction, operations, and maintenance.
- Manage strategic sourcing, tactical procurement, and supplier management for industrial gases and related materials.
- Build, develop, and oversee a team of Supplier Integration Managers embedded within project teams.
- Develop, implement, and execute sourcing strategies for projects such as SPARC, FTL, and ARC.
- Ensure internal customer needs are met through effective supplier development and reliability initiatives.
Requirements
- Experience leading supply chain activities for plant infrastructure including plant design, construction, operations, and maintenance.
- Experience in strategic sourcing, tactical procurement, supplier management, supplier development, and ensuring supplier reliability.
- Ability to build and develop a team of Supplier Integration Managers embedded within project teams.
- Proven track record of developing, implementing, and executing sourcing strategies for multiple projects such as SPARC, FTL, ARC, and others.
- Hands-on experience in supply chain management roles, including direct involvement in sourcing strategies and execution.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively on complex problems in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with creativity and adaptability.
- Compliance with U.S. laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, including Export Control Laws.
- Ability to meet internal customer needs through effective supply chain management.
