Job Description
A Mechanical Engineering Intern role focused on supporting the design and development of fusion energy technology within a fast-paced, innovative environment at Commonwealth Fusion Systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical components and systems for fusion energy devices
- Support the development and documentation of engineering drawings and specifications
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in projects
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in or pursuing a Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Ability to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems facilities (onsite work requirement).
- Compliance with U.S. export control laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, with any employment offer contingent upon such compliance.
