A Mechanical Engineering Intern role focused on supporting the design and development of fusion energy technology within a fast-paced, innovative environment at Commonwealth Fusion Systems.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical components and systems for fusion energy devices
Support the development and documentation of engineering drawings and specifications
Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues in projects
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or pursuing a Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Ability to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems facilities (onsite work requirement).
Compliance with U.S. export control laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, with any employment offer contingent upon such compliance.
