A Mechanical Engineering Intern at Commonwealth Fusion Systems will participate in meaningful and challenging roles supporting the development of fusion energy technology, working in a fast-paced environment to solve complex engineering problems and contribute to the company's mission.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the design, analysis, and testing of mechanical components and systems.
Support the development and documentation of engineering drawings and specifications.
Collaborate with team members on engineering projects related to fusion energy technology.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in or pursuing a Bachelor's or higher degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Ability to work onsite at Commonwealth Fusion Systems facilities (indicated by LI-Onsite).
Compliance with U.S. export control laws concerning the export of controlled or protected technologies or information, with any employment offer contingent upon such compliance.
