The role involves supporting investment operations, compliance, and portfolio management activities for clean energy and infrastructure projects, ensuring smooth transaction execution, data accuracy, and regulatory adherence within a fast-paced, impact-driven organization.
Key Responsibilities
Provide operational support for transaction activities, including due diligence, legal review, and transaction closings.
Ensure accurate setup of transactions within internal systems such as CRM, portfolio management, and data warehouses.
Manage documentation review and due diligence processes for investments and grants, ensuring compliance with organizational policies and funding terms.
Validate and integrate data into management reports and dashboards in collaboration with finance and analytics teams.
Review routine borrower statements and compile transaction activity data to monitor performance and develop reporting dashboards.
Onboard and track compliance and covenant items, including financial statements and performance reports, and follow up with borrowers as needed.
Support the implementation of compliance programs to ensure adherence to federal regulations and grant requirements.
Monitor regulatory guidance and collaborate with legal and compliance teams to align transaction documentation with policies and laws.
Generate compliance and portfolio reports for internal stakeholders and maintain accurate records in shared repositories.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or other equivalent experience. An advanced degree is a plus, although not required.
At least 3 years of professional experience with clean energy investments, investment operations, compliance, or audit.
At least 1 year of experience with Power BI or other business intelligence tools in both creating and maintaining advanced customized reporting tools.
Demonstrated understanding of investment and or lending transactions, including associated structures and legal documentation.
Experience with Salesforce, portfolio management, investment servicing, or similar data management systems.
Strong project management skills, including communication, critical thinking, coordination, scheduling, and task management.
Excellent organizational skills, with demonstrated experience prioritizing multiple workstreams based on substance, urgency, and capacity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across geographically distributed teams.
Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities, including analytical judgment and sound decision-making.
Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Effective interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work with management and a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Fluency in English.
Authorization to work in the United States.
Willingness to travel occasionally in support of programs.
Ability to perform prolonged desk and computer-based work.
