Job Description
The Renewables Site Administrator supports daily operations at multiple solar and renewable energy sites by handling administrative tasks such as work order processing, inventory management, purchasing, reporting, and coordinating site activities to ensure efficient site management and communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Process daily work orders in SAP, including material consumption, goods movements, and labor hours.
- Administer planned maintenance cycles and serialized component movements in SAP.
- Manage spare parts inventory, including stock organization, receiving, cycle counts, and tracking serialized components.
- Handle purchasing and receiving activities, such as generating requisitions, purchase orders, and resolving vendor discrepancies.
- Assist with planning, scheduling, and supporting team activities and meetings.
- Prepare and submit site business plans, project budgets, and monthly financial accruals.
- Coordinate with corporate offices on warranty claims, payroll, vendors, and outreach activities.
- Organize and support onsite training, meetings, and company functions.
- Provide desktop and network support, including setting up user profiles and interfacing with Helpdesk.
- Support ERP system functions, including requisition, purchase order processing, and materials management.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, and assist with staff travel arrangements.
- Assist Human Resources with onboarding paperwork and related tasks.
Requirements
- Minimum of 4 years experience in a comparable administrative role or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- High School Diploma or GED is required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, with the ability to set up MS Windows profiles, email settings, printer access, and desktop shortcuts, and to interface with Helpdesk support on network and local server issues.
- Demonstrated skills in typing and proofreading.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills including the ability to analyze and interpret financial data, process, and understand various accounting functionalities.
- Prior experience in maintaining and adhering to inventory controls, working with SAP or equivalent ERP system, and performing purchasing and receiving activities.
- Demonstrated hardware skills such as the ability to move electronic equipment within the office space, and knowledge of network access, computers, printers, and peripherals.
- Self-starter with demonstrated performance leading initiatives and building consensus at all levels of a matrixed global organization with minimal supervision.
- Ability to foster and participate in a productive team environment by establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, customers, contractors, and vendors.
- Effective verbal communication skills in individual and group situations.
- Clear and concise written communication skills that convey the desired message.
- Ability to analyze project risks and proactively identify solutions with a flexible, creative, and solution-focused outlook on problem solving.
- Strong prioritization and multi-tasking skills with the ability to operate in a complex, rapidly changing business environment with typically tight schedules and demanding targets.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of the department and team.

Salary range of $50,000 to $65,000 USD
