Job Description

The Manager, Regulatory Compliance is responsible for managing and facilitating compliance with NERC, FERC, and other electric regulatory requirements, including preparing submissions, supporting audits, and monitoring regulatory developments to ensure the company's adherence to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing compliance with NERC, FERC, and other federal and state electric regulatory requirements.
  • Manage NERC compliance matters for designated NERC-registered entities and assets.
  • Prepare and submit NERC, EIA, and other regulatory reports, audits, self-certifications, and data submissions.
  • Develop and maintain compliance procedures, internal controls, and documentation to demonstrate adherence to regulations.
  • Monitor and analyze changes in electric regulatory requirements and assess their impact on the organization.
  • Participate in industry forums and outreach activities related to NERC and reliability standards.
  • Coordinate and facilitate compliance training for internal teams on relevant electric regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • A bachelor’s degree is required.
  • At least five years experience with NERC reliability standards.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written with all levels of internal or external groups.
  • Ability to work independently and be self-directed to take action and accomplish tasks quickly and accurately with minimal direction and supervision.
  • Must be a team player able to work collaboratively with other functions to complete projects.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize job requirements.
  • Must be detail-oriented.
  • Strong organization and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate, coordinate, and lead work teams.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000 USD
