Job Description
The Manager, Regulatory Compliance is responsible for managing and facilitating compliance with NERC, FERC, and other electric regulatory standards, including preparing submissions, supporting audits, and staying updated on regulatory developments to ensure the company's adherence to industry requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and facilitate compliance with NERC, FERC, federal, state, and ISO RTO electric regulatory requirements, focusing on NERC 693 and EIA submissions.
- Oversee NERC compliance matters for registered entities and assets, including preparation of reports, audits, self-certifications, and data submissions.
- Develop, maintain, and update compliance procedures, internal controls, and documentation to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and analyze changes in electric regulations and requirements, assessing their impact on the organization and coordinating internal responses.
- Participate in industry forums, outreach activities, and regulatory meetings to stay informed and represent the organization’s compliance interests.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree is required.
- At least five years of experience with NERC reliability standards.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of internal or external groups.
- Ability to work independently and be self-directed to take action and accomplish tasks quickly and accurately with minimal direction and supervision.
- Must be a team player able to work collaboratively with other functions to complete projects.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize job requirements.
- Must be detail-oriented.
- Strong organization and project management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate, coordinate, and lead work teams.

Salary Range: $115,000 - $145,000 USD
