Assist in managing and ensuring compliance with NERC, FERC, and other federal, state, and ISO RTO electric regulatory requirements, including preparing documentation, participating in audits, and supporting regulatory updates within a renewable energy company.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in managing compliance with NERC, FERC, and other federal, state, and ISO RTO electric regulatory requirements.
Participate in the management of NERC compliance matters for registered entities and assets.
Prepare and submit NERC and other regulatory reports, audits, self-certifications, and data submittals.
Develop and maintain compliance procedures, internal controls, and evidence documentation.
Monitor and analyze changes in electric regulatory requirements and assess their impact.
Engage in NERC and reliability forums, outreach activities, and regulatory meetings.
Coordinate and facilitate compliance training for internal stakeholders.
Communicate with internal teams and subject matter experts to resolve compliance issues and track corrective actions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
At least five years of experience with NERC reliability standards.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with all levels of internal or external groups.
Ability to work independently and be self-directed to take action and accomplish tasks quickly and accurately with minimal direction and supervision.
Must be a team player able to work collaboratively with other functions to complete projects.
Ability to multitask and prioritize job requirements.
Must be detail-oriented.
Strong organization and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to facilitate, coordinate, and lead work teams.

Salary range of $130,000 to $165,000 USD
