Job Description
The Manager, Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the financial performance, operational management, and compliance of utility-scale wind and solar power assets, supporting growth initiatives, and ensuring optimal asset value across a large renewable energy portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the P&L and cash position for all assets in the portfolio.
- Review operational performance and financial variances; develop strategies to maximize value.
- Develop and update project budgets, financial models, and forecasts.
- Perform financial analyses, project evaluations, and due diligence for asset optimization and revenue recovery.
- Support major projects, divestitures, capital investments, and refinancing activities.
- Negotiate and amend project agreements to improve asset performance and mitigate risks.
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage relationships with authorities, regulators, and external parties related to the assets.
- Monitor and report on energy production, renewable energy credits, and stakeholder communications.
- Support the development and integration of information sharing platforms and systems for project management.
Requirements
- Five years of energy industry experience in project development, project administration, business administration, project management, asset management, contract administration, deal execution, project finance, or other commercial roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Strong business and financial savvy with the ability to support a high-performance organization that will deliver operational excellence and meet or exceed financial targets.
- Ability to perform well under pressure on teams in a demanding environment, and occasionally work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
- Ability to think creatively, manage competing priorities, work independently, and pay attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 USD
