The Manager, Asset Management is responsible for overseeing the financial performance, operational management, and compliance of utility-scale wind and solar power assets, supporting growth initiatives, and ensuring optimal asset value across a large renewable energy portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the P&L and cash position for all assets in the portfolio.
Review operational performance and financial variances; develop strategies to maximize value.
Develop and update project budgets, financial models, and forecasts.
Perform financial analyses, project evaluations, and due diligence for asset optimization and revenue recovery.
Support major projects, divestitures, capital investments, and refinancing activities.
Negotiate and amend project agreements to improve asset performance and mitigate risks.
Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, permits, licenses, and regulatory requirements.
Manage relationships with authorities, regulators, and external parties related to the assets.
Monitor and report on energy production, renewable energy credits, and stakeholder communications.
Support the development and integration of information sharing platforms and systems for project management.
Requirements
Five years of energy industry experience in project development, project administration, business administration, project management, asset management, contract administration, deal execution, project finance, or other commercial roles.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
Strong business and financial savvy with the ability to support a high-performance organization that will deliver operational excellence and meet or exceed financial targets.
Ability to perform well under pressure on teams in a demanding environment, and occasionally work extended hours to meet project deadlines.
Ability to think creatively, manage competing priorities, work independently, and pay attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and an ability to communicate complex issues in a clear and concise manner.
Self-motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Salary range of $120,000 to $160,000 USD
