The CDL Class A Driver at Charm Industrial is responsible for safely transporting bio-oil to injection sites, operating site equipment, and supporting site maintenance and operations to aid in large-scale carbon removal efforts aimed at combating climate change.
Key Responsibilities
Transport bio-oil from rail terminals to injection sites safely
Load and unload tanker cars and operate site equipment such as pumps, valves, tanks, and automation systems
Monitor flow, pressure, and temperature during injection and respond to alarms in real time
Troubleshoot downtime issues and perform routine maintenance
Coordinate with vendors for maintenance and repairs
Collect, analyze, and prepare shipment samples
Identify opportunities for operational improvements and provide feedback to R&D and fabrication teams
Maintain a safe and clean site following safety procedures
Operate powered equipment including forklifts, telehandlers, and personnel baskets
Refine and improve standard operating procedures as the operation scales
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
Comfort working around heavy machinery, pumps, valves, tanks, or similar equipment.
Experience with mechanical and electrical components, including basic troubleshooting.
Physically able to climb ladders, lift up to 50 lbs, and work outside in all conditions.
Strong communication skills with a can-do mindset.
Ability to wear multiple hats and influence how the company scales carbon removal.
Willingness to learn operation of forklift, telehandler, skid steer, and tractor if not already experienced.
Experience or background in oilfield drilling, production, or refining for 5 years (bonus point).
