Job Description
This role involves analyzing source code, systems, and technical evidence in intellectual property litigation related to software and hardware, supporting clients and counsel with technical expertise, report writing, and project management within a forensic services team.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed investigations of source code and systems related to intellectual property disputes
- Analyze and inspect source code, database schemas, system configurations, and technical documentation
- Support counsel and clients in intellectual property litigation involving complex technology
- Assist in preparing expert reports and declarations with technical and analytical findings
- Implement quality control measures and document analysis processes to ensure reliability
- Participate in practice-building activities such as recruiting and training team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or other programming-focused discipline, advanced degree preferred
- 5-8 years of related experience
- Experience and deep understanding of programming languages including C, Java, or Python
- Strong understanding of source code analysis, binary reverse engineering, and or hardware functional testing techniques
- Familiarity with analytical tools e.g., SciTools used to visualize and understand software code
- Understanding of database administration and software development models such as SDLC, Agile, etc.
- Experience with drafting technical and investigative reports and communicating technical findings

Salary range of $130,000 - $152,500 with potential bonus incentive compensation
