Job Description
This role involves conducting economic, financial, and industry research, developing analysis and valuation models, and supporting litigation and regulatory cases through data analysis, expert reports, and presentations within a collaborative consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct economic and industry research to understand case issues
- Develop financial and economic analyses or valuation models to support case theories
- Program, build models, and perform regression analyses using languages such as Excel, Stata, R, Python, SQL, or SAS
- Analyze and interpret data from various sources including financial reports, transactional data, and survey data
- Review and summarize analyst reports, academic literature, client documents, depositions, and industry press
- Assist in producing research summaries, expert reports, and presenting findings with visuals
Requirements
- Candidates must be Bachelor’s or Master’s degree candidates graduating December 2025 or Summer 2026 with an academic focus on quantitative research including Economics, Business, Finance, Financial Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Completion of an honors thesis, research apprenticeship, or research seminar program is highly desired.
- Demonstrated understanding of, and ability to explain, economic, financial, and/or accounting concepts, and quantitative and qualitative analysis methods.
- Experience in Excel, Stata, Python, R, SQL, SAS, ArcGIS ArcPy, or Cloud computing platforms such as Databricks Spark, Google Cloud, Azure, or AWS.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Eagerness to learn new skills and programming languages.
- Demonstrated high level of initiative and leadership.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration capabilities.
- Excellent time management and task prioritization skills.
- Clear and demonstrated interest in consulting through coursework, work experience, activities, or attendance at CRA recruiting events.

Salary range: $92,500 - $100,000 with potential bonus incentive compensation
