Job Description

This role leads Strategy and Operations for the sales teams at Celonis, focusing on defining and executing go-to-market strategies, improving sales productivity, and building a high-performance global team to support the company's growth in Process Intelligence technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, including roles, handoffs, accountabilities, and metrics.
  • Develop and implement key programs to support sales pipeline creation, deal closing, and customer delivery.
  • Manage day-to-day business operations such as performance tracking, compensation, planning, and forecasting across sales functions.
  • Engage with regional sales teams and leadership to gather feedback and improve GTM productivity and business health.
  • Build and scale a high-performance operations team that fosters a motivated and emotionally aware culture.

Requirements

  • Proven ability to be a critical and thoughtful business partner, acting as both a challenger and supporter, with experience in developing, coaching, and inspiring a highly motivated team of operations professionals.
  • Knowledge of enterprise SaaS selling, including market positioning.
  • Knowledge of working with partners and establishing ecosystem-awareness and engagement in a sales team.
  • Ability to operate in a global environment, with thoughtfulness on balancing global standardization with localization for impact.
  • Experience in setting and defining the strategy for an integrated go-to-market (GTM) approach, including clarity of roles, handoffs, accountabilities, and ratios, and planning for scaling over time.
  • Ability to define and support key metrics, KPIs, and processes that cut across functions to bring teams together.
  • Experience in defining and supporting key programs that help sales functions create pipeline, close business, and deliver for customers.
  • Ability to support day-to-day business operations such as business performance, compensation, planning, and forecasting across pre-sales, post-sales, and ecosystem functions.
  • Experience in connecting with sales teams and leadership in various regions to gather feedback and ensure understanding of the functions' roles, with a focus on improving GTM productivity and business health.
  • Proven ability to build and scale a high-performance team that embodies a high-performance culture in an emotionally aware and passionate way.
