Job Description

This role leads Strategy and Operations for Celonis's global sales teams, focusing on defining and executing go-to-market strategies, improving sales productivity, and building high-performance teams to support the company's growth in Process Intelligence technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the go-to-market (GTM) strategy, including roles, handoffs, accountabilities, and scaling plans
  • Establish key metrics, KPIs, and processes to unify sales functions and improve productivity
  • Support sales programs that generate pipeline, close deals, and enhance customer delivery
  • Oversee daily business operations such as performance management, compensation, planning, and forecasting
  • Engage with regional sales teams and leadership to gather feedback and improve GTM effectiveness
  • Build and lead a high-performance operations team that fosters a motivated and emotionally aware culture

Requirements

  • Proven ability to be a critical and thoughtful business partner, acting as both a challenger and supporter, and driving business initiatives.
  • Proven ability to develop, coach, and inspire a highly motivated team of Operations professionals.
  • Knowledge of enterprise SaaS selling, including market positioning.
  • Knowledge of working with partners and establishing ecosystem-awareness and engagement in a sales team.
  • Ability to operate in a global environment, with thoughtfulness on balancing global standardization with localization for impact.
  • Experience in setting and defining the strategy for an integrated go-to-market (GTM) approach, including roles, handoffs, accountabilities, and ratios.
  • Ability to lay out a plan for evolving GTM strategies as the organization scales.
  • Experience in defining key metrics, KPIs, and processes that cut across functions to improve team collaboration.
  • Experience in supporting key programs that help sales functions create pipeline, close business, and deliver value to customers.
  • Ability to support day-to-day business operations including performance management, compensation, planning, and forecasting across pre-sales, post-sales, and ecosystem functions.
  • Experience in connecting with sales teams and leadership in various regions to gather feedback and improve GTM productivity and business health.
  • Ability to build and scale a high-performance team that embodies a high-performance culture in an emotionally aware and passionate way.
  • Experience in working with and supporting sales teams in a SaaS environment.
