Job Description
A User Experience Researcher at Celonis will conduct user research to understand behaviors and needs, helping to shape and improve the company's process mining products through various qualitative and quantitative methods, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver user-centered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct primary and secondary user research to understand user needs, behaviors, and motivations.
- Lead strategic research initiatives to identify new product opportunities.
- Analyze user behavior through various research methods such as ethnography, surveys, usability testing, and logs analysis.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, engineers, and other UX researchers to prioritize research activities.
- Integrate complex technical and business requirements into research plans.
- Communicate research findings through reports and presentations to diverse audiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Anthropology, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Human Factors, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of software or related industry experience within a UX research setting
- Experience utilizing various research design methods such as usability studies, contextual inquiry, surveys, and other research techniques
- Experience leading strategic research efforts and integrating user research into product designs
- Ability to understand and incorporate complex technical and business requirements into research
- Comfortable working in a highly-technical environment and engaging with quantitative stakeholders
- Ability to understand and analyze quantitative findings and materials
- Familiarity with both quantitative and qualitative research methods
- Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and organizational levels
